Open Question: History Help????????
Sun, 04 Nov 2007 16:10:04 GMT
Please help me with this question:
Why do you think the following source opposes Germany having a powerful navy??
" While great naval power in the hands of Britain cannot constitute a manace , in the hands of Germany it will be a great peril to the world. This is even more so as the recent history of German policy of daring aggression and the lack of space at home compels Germany to conquer the colonies of others or perish."
It was a comment written from the Daily Mail in February 1903
Open Question: do we agree to disagree (again)?
Sun, 04 Nov 2007 15:35:38 GMT
Apparently my so straightforward question posted yesterday as we should agree to disagree and play with the Y!A rules, was reported and deleted from this section.
Today I notice a few silly questions that are low blows, trying to damage our image and our undeniable hospitality.
The hatred and misleading from other nationals is evident. From now on we have to follow your example and play by your dirty rules.
To all of you who try to mar the image of modern Greece and Greeks and our recent history: Get your news from another source and not from what the communism fed you for years of brainwashing. Is not fair to our history, is not fair to you to appear so embarashingly ignorant.
As for the minorities in Greece that you mention: I grew up on Greece and nobody was restricted to speak any language they wanted and they did so(that is if they were understood by others of course)
As far as I know, the borders were closed for communist citizens to come to Greece, not the opposite,OK?
